Sorry I've been away a while whilst you struggled. I think 4.1.14 is Carthorse but can't remember. Orchestra is the odd ones out as the others are anagrams of each other.

Difficult to give a hint for this one as I guessed and still don't really get it. It doesn't say he returned OK to the farm so assume he didn't make it. What would stop him getting home, ever?
