When you posted this, I naturally assumed you were talking about the BBC Forecast

What you have now said is that you were quoting outliers from various polls, but not the 365 conservative seats on the graphic that you used

On the greatest night of your life, cheer up FFS. I produced the evidence, other polls predicted the same as other NSC’er told you hours ago. I know you like to think you win every debate, suck it up.

So, 144 seats isn't a wipeout then?
Well, 65 would be a wipeout. Whether 144 is is a different question; I certainly won't be quibbling if you want to call it a wipeout.
The election has been a damning verdict for the Tories, but:
-- no party has ever won five consecutive elections
-- this is the lowest number of seats they've ever received
-- despite that, it's not quite as bad as many polls were predicting ...
-- ... and also the predicted lowest turnout at a GE points to Tory voters staying at home which they may regard as a good sign for the next election when there will be five years of Labour to induce them out to the ballot box

That said, the two big factors for them to confront are Reform and whether they want a Reform clone as their next leader. How that all plays out is anyone's guess.
