I’ve just woken up, I have a coffee, and things are looking good. Apart from Lee Anderson of course, but it was too much to expect a completely nobhead free parliament.

In 2019, Corbyn got 3 per cent less than tonight on probably a higher turnout. When we see the turnout, we can figure out if actually more people voted for Labour this time than they did in 2019, it’ll be close.

This Labour majority is therefore built on quicksand (with crap ratings for Starmer to boot). The combined rightwing vote of 43 per cent is a very scary prospect for the future
Don't be surprised if Farage becomes PM in five years time following the inevitable merger between Tories and Reform.
