Labour. The most unpopular massive landslide winners ever. Which proves that Sunak and Starmer were right, and are massively popular and the real winners.

Starmer is clearly useless.

Bring back Corbyn!

:shootself
It’s astonishing Harry. Have you seen any spokesperson for the f**k Starmer hard left group on TV?

Where are they all?

The Worthing seats were certs to be Labour for a very long time. What’s the point in canvassing.

The background …. unpopular government coming to an end, Reform splitting the vote, a much younger demographic than the centuries of bath chair voting Tories (housing, EU, etc). You can thank the incredible city of Brighton and Hove … stacks of lefties moved to Adur and Worthing for cheaper housing.

Peter Bottomley won the last election by 15k
Tim Loughton was 7k

Hardly an easy win for Labour and at least something for the Tories to fight for - but no - they gave up in my opinion conceding defeat before it already started- FFS put up a fight for what has always been yours !!
No wonder we’ve lost faith in them and voted elsewhere!

83% of Labour members support PR, just 12% oppose (YouGov).
I am a member. I have never heard any of my chums mention the issue. How much are they bovvered? It will never happen under Starmer's watch.

The only Q for me is whether Labour will be able to effect change. How long should we give them? What would success look like?

Success = being re-elected in 5 years time with a reduced majority. Green getting a dozen or so seats. Reform getting none. The Tories realising that being right wing nutters isn't good for people and the Lib Dems giving up on politics and just running slightly awkward family fun days.

Yep. Love all that.

And meanwhile the nation back on (back on) track.
