Well, I don't mind admitting to being a Labour member. :lolol:

Doesn't feel on message though does it?

You can call me unpleasantly cynical, and you'd be right because I am, but I'd much rather be having this conversation from a position of what appear to be reasonably sensible and competent people gaming the system to win a massively disproportionate majority than the alternative.
Chapeau.

Da da da da f*** the tories.

Quite honestly even if it goes tits up. I quite like the other side feeling a little powerless in they are under no control.

The country needs a change. If we get it time will tell. But couldn’t be more glad to see that lot out.

The left need to accept there only two parties in the race and sadly for most labours the best of a bad selction.

As was indicated by all the recent by-elections too, but with added protest votes with Reform.
I hadn't realised labour were so rubbish 😢

Five more years of opposition it is, then.

Tories collapse, labour get more votes than the Tories (miles more) and win. Without popular support? If only they were as popular as they had been when Jeremy was leader. Then we may be looking at a labour government tomorrow.

Oh....hang on...
You’re confusing being more popular than something everybody hates, with being popular because everybody likes you.

Yes, they will be the government but not because they are any more or less popular than they were 5 years ago.

I blame the failure of. democracy on having libraries as polling stations.

Country of thick ****s.
Our voter turnout % isn't too different to most western european countries - and will be higher than the French first round last weekend, which was also a higher than average turnout.

But I do think our curriculum should do far more to educate children about politics, and why being invested in politics is important re affecting all aspects of their lives, etc.
