I think it is linked to geographical size of the areas and how easy it is to get election boxes to places. Much easier in tight urban areas than dropping all the boxes from around south Devon.Why are all the northern results coming in first?

I voted in Newcastle about 9.00pm and we were queueing out of the door. Mrs NES worked a different polling station and reported being busy all day. I am surprised turnout was so low.Turnout is always low in the North East I believe
