Why are all the northern results coming in first?

Is it a time zone thing?

I think it is linked to geographical size of the areas and how easy it is to get election boxes to places. Much easier in tight urban areas than dropping all the boxes from around south Devon.

Yup. For all Starmer going on about “If you want change you have to go out and vote for it” for 6 weeks solid, it seems like err, nobody really has.
You think it will be a Sunak win, then?

Crikeyfuckingblimey.

24% share of the vote for Reform so far, but the overall 54%, so far, is very low

From my perspective I'm delighted that the share of the vote is going to be central to the news and will, I hope, push PR up the agenda
