I think Rule 2 is a little harsh on the FIRST person to predict that result.
They would be deprived of a win just because some retard couldn't be bothered to check prior entries.
It also opens the door to deliberate scuppering of an individuals predictions.

I propose a rule change.
2) If more than 1 person provides a correct prediction, the winner will be the first to have logged their prediction.
