This season was bad enough but next season could be even worse (if you're a southern club)
Apart From Brentford, QPR & Fulham (possibly Millwall)
The whole of the Championship will consist of 20/21 clubs north of Watford
Sunderland, middlesbore & Hull joining along with Bolton, Sheff Utd (possibly Bradford)

Happy days, we'll be playing
Arsenal
Spurs
West Ham
Watford
Bournemouth
Saints
Chelsea
Palace
Only 9 trips up north plus 1 to south Wales (possible Reading )
So glad we're in the premier league next season :albion2:

I was thinking about this the other night, it's great, less travelling up norf for all the travel weary Albion fans, and more clubs to play down souf, without getting nose bleeds!

Not so good for us who live up here though! Not so many easy away days.

I agree, but them's the breaks sometimes, it works out for some and not others.
Even though Albion will be playing more away games in my locale, it doesn't mean I'll be anymore successful in watching them play than before, as not a STH

The South Coast is the new up and coming area with us, Saints and B'mouth in the PL and the other muppets along the road gaining promotion from League 1 with Plymouth and the down-turn in the North-East with Blunderland, Dull and Miseryboro sinking, with only Newcastle bucking the trend.

Money to be saved. Last few Championship seasons have been brutal on the bank balance with dickheads like leeds charging £40 for a ticket.

Cardiff and Bristol aren't north of Watford

All joking aside, the Championship has some amazing derbies and local rivalries next season. Here are some of my top picks:

Massive Vs Sheff Utd
Massive Vs Leeds
Huddersfield Vs Leeds
Notts Forest Vs Derby
Villa Vs Birmingham
Ipswich Vs Norwich
Wolves Vs Villa
Wolves Vs Birmingham
Sunderland Vs Middlesbrough

A very tough league next season.

Brentford and Fulham could get promoted. I can only see QPR, Bristol City getting relegated. Perhaps with Ipswich?
