Well I thought it was a brilliant phone in today and credit to Harty for organising Baker to be on it and giving him a grilling from the off. Frim but fair! Top job Harty.

Agreed... top job today from Harty.

No need to hype this one or play the devils advocate!!

Great 'callers' - a really good phone-in all round

Does not pass the SUPERFAN test then, clearly a GLORYSEEKER who stopped supporting those no hopers of Arsenal so he could wallow in the delights of fortress Withers.

Ward OUT:angry:

I have no problem with M ward apart from this.....his comments about our dislike of Palace being pathetic ( were you there at the 1-0 last year?) and also his comments in the program about some of our chants.

...perhaps I do have a problem with him

Are you returning to your birthplace next week.

I am not sure yet...I was going to be on the phone in, but I think the FA Cup stuff will probably take up a lot of time ie Crawley/Lewes and the draw.

All my direct relatives who lived in Hudds have died off now so there is no ulterior motive.

...I went to scunthorpe, I think I did my duty for a while..LOL

I don't agree with his comments either, and am with you on the Palace issue, but I don't always agree with Harty's either, it does not mean that Ward would be an inappropriate presenter.

I once had to give a lecture on economics in Germany under Hitler, just because I don't vote Nazi (sorry Oceanic and Algie) does not mean I can't do the job.

I accept that....I was merely saying that someone who openly critisised albion fans for their passion about a local derby IMHO would not command the respect of someone like Ian, who has " been there and done it as a true albion fan"

That was all.

I dare say he is a seasoned journo and as such would make a very good host

Not my place to suggest an heir but DTG would do an excellent job as would the Ferret or Levo.

Agree but would Ferret be seen as being too close to the club?
