@stewart12 personal opinions eh? In my years following Peacehaven, Eastbourne United was my least favourite ground, although I did like the Coronation Street style surroundings that gave it a northern ground feeling on leaving.
Absolutely, the setting of the ground is fantastic. I hadn't been pre refurb so don't know what it was like before but it's certainly a decent ground now (although not a colossal amount of character as it's all quite new and polished)

I went there about 5 years back and it was an average looking non league ground with a couple of metal stands and clubhouse that looked tired but was a decent size.
Wooden fencing around the rest of the ground and i noticed the original oval shape behind the fence.
There are a few photos online of the old stands and when the ground was an oval.

Half non league but as this is a sort of ground hoppers thread i’m sticking this here.

Me and the boy went to AFC Wimbledon v Dagenham (1-2)

I’ll keep it short.

A great Saturday night out, friendly people, really nice club, good atmosphere and songbook, plenty of food options (pie meal was a tenner but as football food goes possibly the best I’ve ever had) plenty of beer options and a pub …. (pauses for air)….INSIDE the ground.
Well worth a visit if you’ve never been. View attachment 193162
I assume those pies were bought outside the stadium.

In a pile of football shirts
I hear Kevin Green is the new Haywards Heath manager
Has that been confirmed? Gutted that he left Steyning though heard there were underlying circumstances that necessitated his leaving.

Managed to get two more in today.

CF Montañesa in the Spanish 5th Tier, had a bit of a South American vibe to it, so not sure if there is a connection there.

Then headed north to Terrassa to watch them take on Sant Andreu in the same league as Europa. Great atmosphere at both games, really enjoyable trip taking in grounds 286, 287, 288 and 289.
