So both of you have an idea of a big budget, but over a 40 week season one of the numbers is twice as big as the other. I guess very few people really have an idea what budgets are at that level. I've seen some of the money at step 4 and even there the budget varies wildly.

That's interesting. Wasn't being snarky, was just interested in what the perception was for money at that level. As it's a roughly 40 week season that means a £20k budget is paying roughly £500 per week which between, let's say just the starting 11 being paid that's £45 per week each with subs not being paid. That doesn't sound that ridiculous to me. Is that for a club at the top end of step 5?
Depends what division you are talking about, teams like Mile Oak only get paid expenses
Anecdotally I hear that quite a few are on £100+ per week. In my view that’s an unsustainable business model and it doesn’t take Einstein to work that out. There are numerous examples that sadly demonstrate the folly of going down that route.
Oh dear. Thanks for the update, I wasn't expecting anything but it does sound worse than I expected. BPA is not a happy ship at the moment.
Only seen it from Pete O'Rourke at the moment, who is iffy at best on reliability. I'd be surprised if he goes, good luck to him however, he's a great coach.
My lad tells me that AH was linked with the (recently) vacant Eastleigh job. You can imagine that one might have appealed to him, IF he were looking to step up. Decent sized club with good facilities - underachieving but with no huge inherent expectation. And of course he could have done it without uprooting.
From MY SAUCES at both clubs (mates) they both have said its a done deal.
I see York are not far from relegation places. Surely he would not uproot so far away if there is any chance they could be playing at same level as Worthing.
