I thought Steyning had a plastic pitch?
It’s funny calling it “plastic” - as if it’s some sort of Loftus Road back in the day surface. The surface is amazing to play on and can be used every day, every evening. For SCFL clubs its a game changer financially. And we don’t get the cancellations. If you call it 3G it is more descriptive of the quality.

Well tonight I’m now going to Truro v Dartford…..

In Gloucester!
Eh? …oh well, however if anyone’s trying to get a penalty decision I certainly wouldn’t advise rolling about on that carpet, you’ll catch something.

Yup, you heard correct.

Truro are playing 9 ‘home’ games in 3 weeks at Gloucester….havent worked out the round trip yet, but must be 6hrs+. Being in Cheltenham and Tuesday being my footie night Gloucesters a good 3G back up - Friday it’s Gloucester v brackley at 1 and Truro v Slough at 5 - crazy stuff

Having to watch England instead of Lewes.

Never thought I’d say that.

No, I didn’t. Are you certain? I first heard about the mention on the Football Cliches podcast, and did some investigation. I’ve not seen this allegation anywhere else. I’ll have to dig deeper.

Yeah it definitely is - when you watch look at his mouth as West Didsbury & Chorlton is said. And the voice is different

Credit to Lewes for putting on £2.50 pints on Tuesday night after the match was shitcanned. I thought the pitch looked fine, and the rain was light but what do I know.

It's been a good week for Worthing FC , up to 5th in the table after a 5-1 win away to Havant & Waterlooville on Friday and now the Rebels catering facilities have been awarded the highest possible hygiene rating of 5 stars also (y)

Another big match tomorrow (Monday) is the Barrowmen away at Shoreham 11am ko. Looking forward to this one. Shoreham on a good run and a lot of familiar faces in the home squad and management team.
