Weather's taken a turn for the worse here in IP16 after a bright start to the day now raining and strong winds look set for the afternoon .

Dry and sunny in Burgess Hill now for the FA Trophy game after a near-monsoon an hour before ko.....

Enjoyed the Burgess Hill Town v Harrow Borough FA Trophy game today. Hill comfortable 4-1 winners.

Well we made hard work of it 2nd half but won on penalties against Worthing. An entertaining 4-4 draw was marred out the end of the game by some ugly scenes on the pitch . Didn't see what started it but apparently a Worthing fan encroached onto the pitch after the penalty shootout. After being in control and 3-1 up we fell to peices once again with Worthing levelling at 3-3 before we took the lead again before being pegged back with minutes to play.

Didn't fancy the 7/8 hours driving in poor weather in the end so settled a trip to Worthing United v Edgware in the FA Vase.
Finished 0.3 to the visitors.
