Poba? Key board problems tonight! Went to Newhaven - made hard work of it but finally won 3-0 v Lingfield

Yes I also went, enjoyed sitting in the sunshine.
Agree they definitely made hard work of it, bit of a scrappy first half and the ref didn’t look like he was in control at times. Very good free kick for the first goal.

Was at Woodside to see Worthing win 3.1 v Bishop's Stortford.

Decent game and a good crowd of 1200+ in the sunshine.

Off to Shoreham v Hailsham on Tuesday then on Wednesday will follow Worthing up to Tolworth for the trip to table topping Kingstonian.

Littlehampton
Another brilliant afternoon at The Sportsfield, I can't remember the last time they let me down. Crawley Down took the lead inside 25 seconds; the rest of the half was end to end and very niggly. Then Littlehampton midfielder Jordan Layton (9 stone, dripping wet) went right through their massive centre half for a straight red, only for handbags to ensue, with one of the CD players picking up a second yellow to even things up.

When the visitors went 2-0 up just before the hour we thought a shock was on the cards, only for a complete turn around in fortunes. Joe Benn got a goal straight back and went on to complete his hatrick as Golds ran out 5-2 winners. He's on 25 for the season now! George Gaskin and the impressive Dion Jarvis got the other two goals. Thoroughly entertaining; £6 very well spent....

anyone know why Mo Diallo isn't starting for Worthing at the moment? Whenever I've seen him play he looks absolutely brilliant and a real handful but seems to mostly be sub lately?

Big match on Tuesday - will it be Newhaven v table topping Littlehampton or feet up in front of tv for England v Hungary?

I must admit I don’t watch evening games but this one may be worth going to, I enjoyed the Newhaven game on Saturday more than watching England on tv.

I'd have followed the Marigolds to Newhaven on Tuesday if I didn't already have a ticket for Wembley..... Should be another good game, but Littlehampton will be missing another important player after Layton's sending off yesterday. I've a feeling that all these absentees are going to catch up with them sooner or later, and Tuesday could well be the night.

Sooner or later we are going to surely bump into each other, as I am also going to Kingstonian on Wednesday, with a mate from work who really looks like Lewis Dunk. Going to Lewes on Tuesday though.
