On the twelfth day of Christmas, Gus Poyet sent to me...

12th man-a-chanting
11 Players playing
10 whistles blowing
9 seagulls flying
8 summer signings
7 shots-a-saving
6 cards-a-waving
5 Spaaaniiaarrdds
4 angry words
3 gestures
2 keepers gloves
and a goal from Will Buckley!

Feel free to improve it...

(Alternatively, 8 thousand fans-a-leaving, 7 minutes early)

I like.

Thing is there's no way we'll get 2000 odd North standees catching the words of it. Bit more simple needed!

Appologies to The Smiths for this one...

"And if a double decker bus crashes into Gus
To die by his side, what a heavenly way to die
And if a ten ton truck, kills the both of us, watching this side
The pleasure the privilege is mine
There is a pass and it never goes out..."

Perhaps starting with,

"Pass it out tonight
Because I want to see football and feel young and alive
Pass it anywhere, I don't care
Sitting in our ground I never ever want to go home
(Something something something)

I've always liked the 'I can't help calling in love with you' song when teams sing it.

Bennett/Buckley song came from NSC as did a few that we sung at palarse last season. Huddersfield would be a good time to try and get praise you going.

Heard this out of the North towards the end of last season but heard it since? ... to the tune of Animals go in two by two; love it!

Who’s that flying down the wing Lua Lua!
Hear the fans from Brighton sing Lua Lua!
Will he shoot or will he pass,
He leaves defenders on their arse,
And we all bow down to Kazenga LuaLua!

He plays down the left
He plays down the right
That boy will buckley

Heard it occasionally this season, but because of his lack of appearances/poor showings when he does actually play - thats why it hasnt been sung much.
