I’m so looking forward to Nike’s playful take on the poppy. In fact, I might book a week off work in November so I can fully absorb the rage

I’m sure ex-servicemen everywhere would join you in this beano of schadenfreude.
I'm sure ex-servicemen, in fact the vast majority of people, will see my post is not mocking them, more the idiots who have hijacked Rememberance Day to serve their own agenda. In fact, some servicemen despise what the day has now become.

I heard talk of pearl clutching around the subject of the short collar thing. I was struggling to understand which view point was doing the pearl clutching.

All these ridiculous phrases have lost so much meaning and that which they describe seems to be practiced by those that coin it.

I mean in this currently scenario are we really expected to see pearl clutching, easily offended snowflakes anywhere but within the vocal minority of triggered individuals losing their shit on social media about some colours on a shirt.

I would add that as ever with this stuff we are hearing a whole lot more from people talking about these over-sensitive nitwits than the nitwits themselves.

The culture wars rage on. They are good for someone, that's for sure.

The colourway reminded me of the Africa Unity shirt, that every African nation had as their third kit at the South Africa World Cup.
