What's to stop people travelling to stand around outside a neutral ground anyway? Unless it's a mystery stadium that isn't revealed until the TV coverage starts?

Why the hell would fans elect to travel and stand around outside an empty stadium, running the gauntlet with police moving you on, and missing the game completely when you COULD have stayed home and watched it live on TV, with a beer ?

You would seriously have to question the intelligence of any dimbots who actually chose to do the former of those two options.

Spot on. If anyone actually wants to congregate they'll find a way to do it, probably indoors away from the gaze of the OB. Most football fans just want a good day out, see their mates and maybe a few beers, standing outside an empty ground with no pubs or cafes open will be the crappest day ever!

Only time I can see it happening is the local scallies at Anfield when they win the title regardless of whether the team played there or not.

That is spot on in my opinion. When Liverpool won the European champions League in 2005, I lived in another part of the city, I drove to Anfield to see what was happening after the game and there were thousands there. They will party in the streets social distancing or no social distancing.
