Take it at as a sign. Don’t give X the time of day, delete it from your phone. Anything about the Albion on X worth remotely reading will end up in here within minutes anyway. Of course it should be taken as a pinch of salt even then. X doesn’t deserve your anxiety and you certainly don’t deserve to feel the way you do about some no-mark. Get rid of X. Be happy.
Quite a bit of it ends here so quickly because someone has seen it on X

I find it quite useful as a news feed, but avoid the ‘for you’ side as that’s algo-driven spam in the main.

As I said, I ditched my own account quite a while ago.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
No, nothing like that.

Ok, the name to search is 'don hurzeler'.
Presumably not this one?

Or for the love of God, just follow who you want to follow on X on the subjects you are interested in and don't touch the "For you" button. I never really understand how people can't use it properly. There are millions of terrible people on X but you never need to really see them if you just follow good people.

Same people who haven’t worked out there’s an ‘ignore thread’ button on here presumably

There's a couple of ex NSC wannabe local councillors who spring to mind immediately, but then it's a tough call

The fat stupid socially inept clerk wannabe who threatens everyone with legal action :dunce:

or

The anti-disabled Islamophobic midget 'businessman' who tries to hide behind multiple social media personas :wanker:

I certainly wouldn't want to call it

Twitter is a sewer, over-run with disease spreading rats and readily drank by folk who know no better.

I deleted my Twitter account and I am no lesser person for it. That way I don't have to waste my emotions fretting over users like that.

The only account I miss is the Southern Rail parody.
I often wonder about that as I rarely come across the sort of content you describe just by only following people I want to and hardly ever opening the “For You” tweets. It can be an interesting space if you use it correctly

I must have clicked on the “For you” by accident on Saturday, quite a nice surprise :lolol:

Gods country fortnightly
X is just a toilet these days full of people being nasty and rude about anything they can, do yourself a favour and delete the app you will feel better for it.
Agree, just no moderation with dishonest actors promoted, its not a safe space for anything where opinions are divided. Hopefully an alternative will emerge in time.

I suspect the individual is just a fan of another club (not necessarily Palace). More likely a bitter Leeds or Wednesday fan that just can't accept what a well run club BHA are in the modern era.

With success you are going to get people that start to hate us, ignore is the best form of engagement

Is it the X account for that fella based in the US that writes poems?

I'm not a fan of his poems, but most unpleasant fan is a bit harsh.
He seems a lovely chap
But his 'poetry' is crap
You think it's quite amusing
And the sentiments are fine
But then for no good reason
He add lots of unnecessary words that ruin things completely and stop it scanning at all, but apparently that's okay as long as there is some sort of rhyme at the end of the... line.

There’s some excellent stuff on there, you just need to be selective.
Agreed. It's a much nicer place if you only view tweets (or whatever they are called these days) from people you follow.

It will occasionally default back to from everyone but it doesn't take me long to realise that has happened.

Bath, Somerset.
Claims to be a supporter since the late 80s, but is now expat (and also hates the UK).
So a Brit who is now an immigrant in another country :lolol:

Just don't follow me as well.
