The only journo to be identified as a valid target by both friend and foe in Afghanistan! She used to wander around the (friendly) Afghan HQ in nipple-enhancing T-shirt and wonder why they didn't want her around. She had no idea at all of how life really was on a front line, quite happy to float in, make stupid demands, and then wander back to her nice safe hotel once she had some footage (not necessarily her own, either - rumour has it she obtained some A-Q footage and tried to pass it off as her own, CBS being none too impressed!) She also claims to have lived a "front-line" life that a highly active member of the French Foreign Legion would blush to admit to - not only a wonderful reporter and humanitarian, but superwoman incarnate, surviving anti-tank mines on her unarmoured car!

Amanda Piper is nice enough, but she needs to learn to talk properly. I become fascinated watching her mouth contort it's way around words, and then realise that I haven't actually listened to the news!
