Yes, the 1996-97 season where the club sacked a manager, sold its ground, announced it was to play games in a shit stadium god knows how many miles away, saw the board ousted by continuing supporter protest, a fantastic home record, but unable to win away, and avoiding avoiding relegation out of the football league on the last day of the season by drawing with the team above you thereby sending them down after being 1-0 down to an own goal pales into insignificance doesnt it really?

You forgot boycotted games, fans invading their own stadium, sit down protests, marches through central London, games where every fan blew a whistle non-stop for 90 minutes, fireworks signalling mass exits, Fans Utd, THAT 4-4 draw with Orient, Bellotti being smuggled into the ground in a bin/leaving his seat after 30 seconds, and SO MUCH MORE.

And STILL not as bizarre as this one.

And STILL not as bizarre as this one.

What is bizarre about this season.

All that has happend is that we are involved in a relegation struggle, our team is shit and we have sacked our manager. Now losing/sacking is a pretty unremarkapble event - happens most seasons (11 managers in the past 13 years and 18 in the last 30). Pretty average season I would say.

And I've witnessed more relegations with this club than any other achievement!:bla::bla:
