The minutes applause for Muamba ...... Why ?

It was a bit odd to say the least, the last thing I looked at on the way to my seat was the sky sports ticker thing that said he had been laughing and joking with his team mates, then I had to 'pay my respects to him'.

Liked the soldier stuff, disappointed the teams were getting read out while he was walking off, I don't suppose they'd have got read out during the minutes applause for Muamba!

10 people under 30 die of of a heart attack every week in the UK. They are generally not lucky enough to be surrounded by high class medical professionals at the time.

Yes, its bad for him, but having to watch everyone trying to be more concerned, hurt, blah blah than the next person every time a celebrity of some sorts is ill or dead, seems unfortunately to be the norm now.

That is a very interesting post,and just maybe you will get my drift,it has been said that Muamba was 'Dead' for 70 plus minutes (?) yet CPR was carried out UNTIL the heart re-started,sorry if you are caught in a car crash and needed CPR then a hospital would they keep trying for that lenght of time ??
