Been an absolutely thrilling tournament so far, plenty of upsets and now we're already at the Quarter Final stage, some really good match ups and a busty new female referee to boot.

The Ally Pally has once again been a magnificent venue, atmosphere absolutely electric according to Hazel Irvine, but been shocked to see a number of empty seats for the Round of 16 ties. Pleased to say I've had a tenner at 20/1 on Ball Run to win the title.

QF ties:

Thursday, 16 January

13:00 - 'The Magician' Shaun Murphy (Eng) v 'The Gentleman' Joe Perry (Eng)

19:00 - 'The Captain' Ali Carter (Eng) v 'The Wizard of Wishaw' John Higgins (Sco)

Friday, 17 January

13:00 - 'On Fire' Stephen Maguire (Sco) v David 'Gilbo' Gilbert (Eng)

19:00 - 'The Warrior' Kyren Wilson (Eng) v 'Ball Run' Stuart Bingham (Eng)

Comprehensive win for The Magician, can’t see anything other than the same for the Wizard of Wishaw tonight.

You are really going to struggle with this thread.

Shocking standard so far... and it won't get better.

All the nicknames and the high energy entrances followed by half an hour of each player trying to snooker each other while everyone nods off.
It's all a bit cringe for a slow silent sport.
It doesn't work for snooker like it does with Darts

Fabulous victory for Ball Run last night over the Magician. On course for an historic back to back Masters titles, and only a fool would bet against him in such form. An absolute class act. Today's games look very tasty, an intriguing warm up this afternoon before the main event this evening.

I’ve just spent 45 seconds wondering how the hell you managed to start a thread dated tomorrow.
