A good start for Tiger and its rounds 2 & 3 where he will come into his own and the others will start going backwards. Can't understand why he's 2/1 now and tempted to wade in again.

Dangerous thing to say but I just don't think it will happen for Woods at this years Master.

I love this event, I've always watched it, even when I was a kid, because it looks fantastic.
My only problem is Ken Brown, how is he an 'expert' commentator?.

His record at Augusta is:-

Missed the cut ONCE.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I could do that, I could roll up tw@t around for 2 days then go home. It won't make me an expert 20 years later.

Did anyone else hear the special mention for Peter Aliss for Hollingbury park golf club as a result of it being the centenary year?

Now for really classy commentators you need to watch South African TV. We get Dale Hayes, Gavin Levinson and Norman Machaba, who is the teaching pro at some course in Jo'burg!! Dale Hayes certainly won on the European tour, but not sure Levinson did and poor old Norman has never been anywhere near it.

At least Ken Brown was a very good player in his day and remains one of the very few Brits who won on the USPGA tour. He still has one of the best commentators quotes ever - when asked in the 1997 Ryder Cup whether he would putt first or not, his reply was "I would putt first, hole it and then see the colour of the other guys trousers!!"
