Load of old bollocks, is what I was thinking...Big statement.
I was wondering where he was cutting and pasting his horse shit from.In my quest to get inside the mind of the Dingo, I stumbled upon this article https://www.independent.org/news/article.asp?id=13968 It seems to touch on some of the ideas @Crawley Dingo has tried to express and the author also likes the word immutable. Does this piece chime with your views, Mr Dingo?
It overdid it with the hyperbole imo. This was a more interesting read https://www.cieo.org.uk/research/how-woke-conquered-the-world/ though she also over-eggs the pudding somewhat. I get the impression our antipodean canine friend may be a fan of Joanna Williams.
It absolutely did. It only lasted for a relatively brief period, but I think you'll find that not only was there social mobility in the UK between 1945 and 1979, but inequality decreased too. It's the only time both of those things have happened. Maybe we could all reflect on that.Social mobility never existed in Britain - it was an illusion created to give the semblance that people's lives could improve. The improvements that did take place were not because of 'social mobility' but because the trade union movement fought tooth and nail for any and every improvement in wages and conditions.
Those articles should be prescribed for insomnia. They could even put glass eyes to sleep. In my quest to get inside the mind of the Dingo, I stumbled upon this article https://www.independent.org/news/article.asp?id=13968 It seems to touch on some of the ideas @Crawley Dingo has tried to express and the author also likes the word immutable. …ooh, go on, do tell…
I’ll just tag this onto the woke thread rather than start another binfest thread about the snowflake brigade.

So in your view ideas can be labelled woke but not people?
Trump could be accused of holding fascistic ideas but not of being a fascist himself?
And to be clear, wokeism destroys meritocracy but meritocracy is a flawed ideology?
Lastly, the judging and rewarding of which "immutable characteristics" would lead to the UK becoming a kleptocracy?
What happened in 2000?Social mobility ended in the UK around 2000. But they create more winners as well. I'm going to leave it here now and go and laugh at some Chelsea fans I know.
I always thought grammar schools were a driver for social mobility. Obviously the Labour Party thought differently in the 60's though.Social mobility never existed in Britain - it was an illusion created to give the semblance that people's lives could improve. Don’t ruin it for him FFS! I bet he was enjoying being triggered!I remember seeing that and instantly thinking it was staged. As so many of these type of videos are...

Blair, mass immigration. Standards of living and quality of life began falling around 2000 as well. There may be other things causing those indicators to go south and am open to suggestions. What happened in 2000?
