Anyone want to buy a face value standing ticket for System of a Down at Wembley next Friday?
In case anyone missed this......
I can sell it easily on the tout sites but would rather it went somewhere genuine.

Jessica Pratt at Bleach tonight - been looking forward to seeing her since hearing her first album a couple of years ago - not so blown away by the new one but it'll do.

Enjoy!
Did you know British Sea Power are playing Decline as a kind of warm up in Brighton-10 th June at C2?
I did. I already had tickets for the Roundhouse and I'm going to see Liturgy on the 10th (my current AOTY.)
I'll only ruin the Roundhouse for myself if I did go.
Thanks muchly for the heads up though.
Anyone else get to see Adam Ant last night? Great hour and a half set consisting of Dirk Wears White Sox and then lots of early punk stuff. If you were hoping to hear the hits you would have been disappointed -Kings Of The Wild Frontier was the only one played and that was forgivable as AA screamed his way through it.
Very impressed with Adam Ant, he looked and sounded great. Glad he stuck to the post punk era period rather than the dandy highwayman crap of later years.
Rather pleased to see Alvvays in town: 7 Sept Concorde 2
C2, seems a very ambitious booking. Have they got a new album coming out?
Don't think so. Headlining at S Bush Empire too...
Listening to it now. A lovely album that makes me nostalgic in a happy way.
Listening now - the reason why I didn't pick the Chad Van Gaalen production is it's a little cleaner than what I'm used to from him (c.f Women - Black Rice, one of my favourite productions of recent years.) It's still lovely sounding though, it's exactly how I'd want an indie-pop record to sound, clear, room for the instruments to be heard with this ever so slight threat of noise throughout.
Still don't get the fuss, it's got neither the slight narcotic haze of the first TPOBPAH album, nor the utter doe-eyed (but stab you in the back) gorgeousness of Camera Obscura. The singer isn't even that attractive......
Agree - not groundbreaking but got and sustained my attention and I've grown to love it (and her voice). Will have to check out your other references now...
Don't listen to me - these guys are the indie pop experts. They'll see you right https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/showt...Festival-all-things-C86-and-indiepop!/page211
Here's Black Rice - a lovely Van Gaalen production

One of the most underrated guys out there.
