This transfer window has brought us no immediate updates to THE LIST, but the promise of TWO new nationalities to come, with the signings of a GREEK and a SOUTH KOREAN

I could well be jumping in as lost track of this thread, but have we not had a Greek player before? I'm sure we had a greek player at Withdean Alexis Nicolas, admit I could be very wrong but something about it rings a bell.

Cypriot I think.

Very much Cypriot rather than Greek. Don't tell ALL Cypriots they are Greek or it might end badly.

Bold = 05.09.24 edit, in adherence to rule update, that the FIRST players capped whilst an Albion player, should be recorded.

I've incorporated all of @AZ Gull 's proposals, without checking, because he's THE MAN and will undoubtedly be right!

Argentina - Alexis Mac Allister
this is genius. Great work.

Alexis was born in London of Cypriot parents. He also played for the Cyprus U21. Not sure if that qualifies for being Greek.

Edit: Beaten to it by Dick and Pevenseagull

Worth keeping an eye on Harry Mills for the cyprus connection.

@hans kraay fan club - based upon your very clearly defined rules outlined in post #138, I would propose that Sam Baldock should be included as our Greek representative. As his brother (RIP) won 12 caps for Greece, Sam was clearly qualified to play for them - as such, he meets your criteria under e).

What say you?

Explanation / rulings:
1. A player MUST have an Albion senior first team appearance, to qualify for entry.
2. Hierarchy of inclusion:
(a) The first player to gain a senior international cap for the respective nation, whilst an Albion player
(b) If no player meets (a) then a player capped at senior level at any point in their career
(c) If no player meets (a) or (b) then a player capped at any level, whilst an Albion player
(d) If no player meets (a-c) then a player capped at any level, at any point in their career
(e) If no player meets (a-d) then any player qualified (under FIFA regs) to play for the respective nation, can be listed.
(f) HKFC's decisions are final - but he's open to suggestion!
