Thing is no one will go to the match just to see the light show. We’re there for the football so why bother with the light show and flame throwers? Presumably the TV broadcasters like it?

As I've said on a similar thread before, a load of (and I'm generalising MASSIVELY here) middle-aged 'blokes' are NOT the target audience for the light show. Just like Gully, Sally and the formally of this parish Sammy aren't.

A lot of the kids love it

We had a light show at the end of the match tonight. Spurs fans streamed out:

To say that I am now steaming angry is an understatement.

How dare those rude ****ers walk out on our show stopper? Utterly disgraceful when the likes of PBOBE have spent so much time and energy putting a fabulous show on at the end and these entitled twits turn their noses up and **** off.

Disgusting.

Shaking with anger.

Yep stick it in the bin along with fanzone. Both had their day. Get some atmospheric tunes going as the build up.

Ps) anyone else noticed that Richie Reynolds has lost it a bit? Or is that a bit harsh. I see he is still going with the Mick Small joke announcement at half time.

My 9 year old daughter absolutely loved tonight.

She laughed, giggled, celebrated, got stressed, annoyed, nervous and then relieved within the space of 2 hours.

It was one of the few times that we've been able to enjoy an evening game without having to think about getting home at a reasonable time because of school.

And it certainly made my life easier!

Football is changing. Either embrace it or don't watch it and stay in the concourse until KO and leave at the final whistle. There was plenty of warning it would happen after the game and the players had almost left the pitch when it started.

A new generation is coming. Football has evolved. The Goldstone and Withdean are long in the past.

There is no way I'd be able to take my girl to an evening game and her to stay the duration during the Withdean era.

And I'm all for it👍. It's nights like this that will cement our wonderful club in the hearts of generations to come that will help it survive when we're gone.

Flashing lights? Pfft. More important things happening....

There
