The Leon Knight Debate

Mendoza

NSC's Most Stalked
So he was a little :censored:
When we played to his strengths, and he resepcted the manager he played well and was a great asset to the team
Personally i think we should have kept him and built the team around him and we would have had more chance 0f scoring the goals to keep us up, more so than McCammon, Turienzo, McPhee, Robinson, Kazim-Richards, Gatting and Noel-Williams

The Championship is a massve step up from league one, but I think he could of done the job if treated rightly.
Coppell had him sorted, and he flourished, McGhee less so and he went a bit rubbish.

These stats are an interesting read, and put great cases for both sides of the story for should he stay or go, or is he good enough for the championship

Knights Seasons with Brighton

2003/2004 Season League 1
Games 44 Goals 25 (57%)

2004/2005 Season Championship
Games 40 Goals 4 (10%)

2005/2006 Season Championship
Games 25 Goals 5 (20%)

Knight Under the Various Managers in League 1

Coppell
Games 12 Goals 8 (67%)

McGhee
Games 32 Goals 17 (53%)

Booker
Games 4 Goals 2 (50%)

Under McGhee he played 82 games and scored 24 (29%)

God hasn't this been utterly done to death now ? The little toe-rag has found his level, its really not worth picking over the bones of his Albion demise every time he knocks one in for someone else is it.

got a bad gambling habit(he looses, how bad do you want?) worked his ticket out for a cut price transfer and the maximum signing on fee.
waste of space and conference bound

AND HE CAN ONLY SCORE AGAINST SLOW THICK STUPID PENALTY GIVING AWAY DIV ONE DEFENDERS.check his record, mostly penalties

he had two championship seasons with us(DONT EVEN PRETEND THAT HE HAD FALLEN OUT WITH MAGEE THE FIRST SEASON)

he failed miserably

just as he did at chelsea qpr and wednesday and he is only a bench warmer at swansea

div 1 at best, div 2 for maximum effect

For anyone in any doubt as to what an utter twat Leon is his remarks after our relegation proved it.

As my eight year old son says "I still love Bobby Zamora, but I really hate Leon Knight".

If an eight year old can work it......

I'm glad he has recognised what a real role model should be.

Cant believe the little twat still has to be debated everytime he scores a f**king goal.

He's EX- Albion and wont be welcome back.

But the problem is the circumstances of his departure will always raise the question "What if?".
