Not sure if this has been mentioned but, Di Matteo has obviously not taken a job since Chelski sacked him because he is still being paid handsomely.....until JUNE 2014.
" "The Italian was unable to reach a settlement with owner Roman Abramovich on his three-year deal when he was fired six months after winning the Champions League as interim boss.

"Di Matteo has already banked almost £7million and will continue to pick up the king-sized salary until June 2014, meaning he is reluctant to take on another job for less money."

Has experience of the Championship....link to article below

"Di Matteo said it doesn’t matter what league he joins, so it’s not “Premier League or bust.”

I saw a list of odds yesterday somewhere and was thrilled to see Ralf Rangnick right up there about 4th or 5th. Thrilled to see that he is actually a serious contender by the bookies. Come on Tony, come on Ralf MAKE THIS HAPPEN ffs HE TICKS ALL BOXES!

The bookies only react to what money has been bet on any individual so as such they are not the ones saying he is a serious contender, they are just covering their backs now in case it should happen. Once money is placed on a couple of other people their odds will be cut. It's all a load of old bollox if you ask me.

Sherwood back to odds on after a break stint at evens.
Also big drop to 9/2 for WBA.

Clement 'slipping' to 4/1 from 3/1.

Oscar 50/1 for Barca.

Milky is 1/6 for Norwich and has been for a while.
If he's that certain why haven't they signed him up?

There is definitely something in the "need a British Manager" school of thought. For instance in the last 10 years the promotion winning managers in 29 out of 30 occasions come from the British Isles (19 x Eng, 5 x Scot, 3 x Rep of Ire, 1 x Wal, 1 x NI)

The 1 successful "overseas" manager ?

Roberto Di Matteo........

Getting boring pointing this out now, but that's a pointless statistic. There haven't been enough foreign managers here to make a fair call. You could use the same argument but flip it for relegation statistics - it doesn't mean anything.

One of our lot was onto the head of Football trading at Coral today (Twitter CGullman)

Nothing much to report (no money especially on our manager) except that that Mackay was a virtual certainty for Norwich but we knew he had ruled himself out anyway.

It will be more productive if we are not all pressing refresh all day - an appointment very soon would be welcome

Just seen that Jamie carragher has been added to the sky bet list of our next managers, what do people think about him possibly becoming our next manager?

Strewth.

Yet ANOTHER one without any experience of being a managerial number 1.

No managerial experience
No championship experience
Never lived or worked outside of Liverpool

Sounds ideal.
