I really like James Richardson but this show is crap other than the odd chance for extended highlights of Albion games. Murty is embarrassingly bad - especially the way he chips in with those little comments during the goals round up.

I caught the 'Look North' edition of Late Kick Off which was almost a cure for insomnia but did focus on the crisis at Leeds and who will be their next manager. Inevitably there was talk of Gus being a favourite but was relieved to hear the consensus is that Redfearn will continue as caretaker, apparently he is popular in the dressing room and has raised morale (but hopefully not too much with Saturdays game in mind).

Much speculation that Warnock would be a good appointment but stand by for fireworks between him and Ken Bates. The local pundits reckon that Lee Clark is a strong candidate to get the job in the longer term. Either way there was a lot of sympathy for Grayson as Ken Bates didn't help him so isn't a good omen for any new manager at Leeds.

Anyway, was Graeme Murty on it? for some reason he really irritates me and i cant fathom it ???

No need for explanations or rationale, I agree entirely. He is a complete GOOBER and no mistake.

I don't think it is a pile of shite actually. I like the fact that you are guaranteed to have some coverage of the team you support. Dan Walker's a good presenter and the late night slot suits its chatty feel. Last night Mark Bright obviously got them to show the 8-2for a laugh at us so I think a mass petitioning of the programme to show the Liverpool 9 Palace 0 might now be in order...

I talked with Chris, the guy who did the piece with me, about the 0-9 and he said they'd tried to get Perry Suckling to re-live it but he hadn't been keen. I also said I'd send him Attila's NNnnnnine nil poem - does anyone know if it is on the net somewhere?

I confess I only did this to blag a free shirt from the sponsors (which worked, thanks BrightonandHovejobs.com).
