There was a good goal last season, possibly against Gillingham and it was 100% a night game i can remember. It was about 30 yards out and the guy smashed it right over Kuipers head, quality goal.
Yup, stands out in my mind as far as recent goals go. I think it may have been Andrew Crofts.

I inwardly ironically applauded Hinshelwood's OG from the halfway line earlier this season...

At least it was a BHA player scoring

Why people clap other teams goals, is beyond me. Also pissed me off when people clap out the County Ground when other team players get to there century. f*** 'em.

Standing in the way of control
One of Crewe's goals against us at the Theatre of Broken Dreams this season was a curler at the away end, very nice. I only applauded cos I was trying to set an example to my nephew.

Robbie Williams (aargh) scored a nice free-kick for Huddersfield against us right in front of H Block last season. Again, I only really applauded cos I was with a mate. Usually I'd have sworn, poked myself in the face and turned my headphones up.

I would have thought you clapped other team's goals against your lot!? You don't exactly get much chance to clap your team's goals

Can't understand why fans would not feel inclined to applaud a cracking goal from another team's player, yes it's a bummer to concede but I go to be entertained as well as to support the Albion ( been a bit disappointing on that front this season though). I can enjoy watching a decent performance from an opposing team.

I was really impressed with the Liverpool fans at the end of the 82/83 cup game at Anfield, where although we'd stuffed their "unbeaten at home in the cup since the mid sixties" record were magnanimous enough to appalud the Albion off the pitch.

Shows a bit of class to applaud another team's great achievements rather than shouting "break the c,unts legs or similar when he next has the ball and is skinning our defence. Different strokes I guess...

I'm not talking about leaping out of your seat and throwing you arms in the air and screaming YYYEEEEESSSS btw

What an awesome goal that was, gave that applause after taking my head out of my hands!

The last one i applauded was Danny Whitakers great strike for port Vale when they went 3-1 up at the withdean. We were crap that day!
