Football is all about bums on seats....I'm sure they'll happily sort you out with a "first half" ticket no problem.

Watch Withdean Finale

Posted on: Thu 12 Aug 2010

By Will Jago

Albion are offering fans the chance to secure tickets for the final three league games at Withdean, by purchasing tickets for the next two home games.

Gus Poyet's men play their first home game of the season on Saturday against Rochdale, and if fans buy tickets for that game, as well as the game against Walsall on 28th August, they will automatically qualify for tickets to watch Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Huddersfield Town at Withdean.

The three games will be the final Albion league games ever to be played at Withdean, before the club re-locate to the American Express Community Stadium.

With Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Huddersfield Town all tipped to make the play-offs this season, the three fixtures all have potential to be enthralling encounters, so book your seat now!

Once you have completed the transaction for Rochdale and Walsall you will be able to purchase your tickets for the final three games immediately.

If you bought tickets for the first three home games you are head of the list for the last three. Other than that what sort of deal are you expecting? The club to offer a discount for three games they can probably sell out twice over?

annoyed at who? it was well advertised on the club site and in the argus

Annoyed full stop.

I must have missed that clearly! My fault.

I did ask a while ago and Insider said details were to be announced, so assumed things were running normally at that point.

The Last Game at Withdean

I seem to have missed almost every major Albion game (in my time of supporting 90 - present day) and I thought I would stand a chance with this one, I might still do, but I will be annoyed if I don't make it.

I reckon I have spent about £5k on visiting Withdean over the years - tickets/travel/Withdean Wager/Programme and really fancied this one. Never had a season ticket, but I've been to 190 odd games (I thought it was less, but realised a portion of my programmes were missing).

Missed Playoff Final x2/Doncaster/Hereford/Swindon Semi/Palace Away (0-1) and so on...

Ah well. If the worst comes to the worst, I shall either try the away end, ticket exchange here, the trees, top of the sports centre or become a gardener and target the houses above the away end or just invade John Catt. I guess they might need extra stewards and I still have my 'minimum force' from my Wembley and Whaddon Road days... :jester:

NB That is not supposed to sound superfan(ish), but it probably does.

A monumental game and desperate to see it.

Sorry BoF but it was on the official website for literally months. I'm sure you'll get a ticket if you try hard enough though.

You could always hope we win the League away from home?

Yep I'm afraid it was pretty obvious at the beginning of the season when they ran it. My sister and I went for it and now having paid for it just hope her rota works out.
