Red on Red love it.
Keable is a senior member of Labour against the Witch-hunt. A group that carries the party name. He's heavily involved with JVL, someone expelled for anti-Semitism and no-one seems bothered with his continued association with a group that is supposed to represent Jewish Labour supporters. He's secretary of Labour Party Marxists, an associated party that are given some privileges that he continues to enjoy and most tellingly he's still the main Momentum representative in Hammermith.I think this is really unfair. The Party has expelled him. Corbyn has no control over these othe groups neither does the Party. There is a huge backlog of complaints in the Party which is entirely due to the Right having abused the system to keep members from being eligible to vote for Corbyn.
One of the things that really concerns me at the moment across the political spectrum is abuse of process and the rule of law. The Labour Party does need to deal with anti-semetism, having said I’d never come across it I had to report someone for it yesterday (and came up against some staggering ignorance where he was unaware that what he was saying was hugely anti-Semitic). He’ll be suspended and wait 18 months for a hearing when he’ll be expelled and people will moan about how long it took and how Corbyn doesn’t take it seriously when the whole system is bunged up by people who have abandoned decency (for want of better word) and think that winning at all and any cost is what matters.

So what exactly has he been expelled from apart from voting rights?
To the average person seeing him at the counter demonstration wearing Labour badges and standing alongside Labour Party members he is giving the appearance of being a Labour Party member. And he's still spouting his racist nonsense.
Are you okay with that? Do you really think that the Party is powerless to stop his campaigning for Momentum, JVL, having access to meetings through the LPM and using the party's name in his group?
There's a simple answer to that. Labour get their house in order and stamp out all this blatant anti-Semitism that has absolutely nothing to do with the Israel/Palestine conflict. They can then sit down with the Zionists lobby to try to thrash things out safe in the knowledge that they've got the moral high ground. Don't go calling people your friend if they're in the habit of saying that Jews drink the blood of Gentiles. Don't keep people in your party if they've got a problem with the universally accepted definition of the word holocaust. Don't let your social media forums become a place where conspiracy theories about Jewish bankers controlling the world are seriously debated and defended. That sort of thing.
That would be a start.
It doesn't have to be Corbyn. It's usually the Party Secretary who deals with this isn't it?No, I’m absolutely not okay with this. He shouldn’t be a Momentum member let alone a representative. You have to be a member of the Labour Party to be a Momentum member so clearly, according to their/our rules, he should be out. BUT Corbyn can’t expell him. I’ve no idea of the constitution of the other groups but I suspect that Corbyn has no say in them either. If these groups are bringing the Party into disrepute and (I’ve no idea here) Labour have some proprietary rights over the name Labour then it’s up to the NEC not Corbyn to do something about it. It’s worth noting that Corbyn has only had the NEC under his control for a couple of months and the Party machinery for a couple of weeks but somehow it’s all his fault.
A russian spy, an ira supporter and an anti semite walk into a pub , what are you drinking tonight mr corbyn says the barman.
1) People who attempt to dismiss concerns by Labour MP's, Labour party members and the Jewish community as 'hysteria' are part of the problem and complicit in allowing antisemitism to grow.
2.) The Jewish Labour Movement say there is a 'vast backlog' of complaints. The implication being Corbyn is only going through the motions and doesn't think there is a problem.
Good grief ....
A statement from Jewish Labour members on the current attacks on Jeremy Corbyn
[updated at 22.40]
We are Jews in the Labour Party currently actively campaigning for Labour in local elections. We are appalled by the actions and statements of the Board of Deputies. They do not represent us or the many Jews in the Party who share Jeremy Corbyn’s vision for social justice and fairness. Jeremy’s consistent commitment to anti-racism is all the more needed now.
As the British people call time on May and the Tories, they are getting more desperate. We would hope that any organisation claiming to represent Jews would be calling them to account when, to cite two examples in the last two months, the Prime Minister‘s ex Chief of Staff uses a national newspaper to dredge up an antisemitic conspiracy theory, and Havering Conservative party issues a dogwhistle leaflet hoping to mobilise racism in their local election campaign. The Board of Deputies has been silent on both. It also says nothing on the global rise of the far right and the toxic anti-immigrant rhetoric of the tabloid press, despite the imperative from Jewish history to speak out against racism and fascism.
The Board of Deputies and those supporting them must be aware that this is an attempt to influence local elections and has nothing to do with the real and necessary task of challenging racism and anti-semitism at all levels of political life. We call on them to stop playing politics and start representing what our community needs. We believe that is best represented by the politics we fight for and hope to see win on May 3rd.

The Daily Mail still going crazy on anti-Semitism in the Labour Party... Yes, that's the same Daily Mail that had a lovein with Oswald Mosely.. . Oh the irony!

Same here....
Actually, it's more like Albion fans hurling sick chants at another group and then attacking those who are critical for being homophobic....
I'm not a Labour Party member and know none who do such things. If there are I suggest they are few.
As for the artwork, I suggest that Corbyn hadn't looked close enough at the depictions before relaying his thoughts.
Talk about scraping the barrel it was 86 yes EIGHTY SIX f*cking years ago
He is a troll. He is not a labour supporter. Just block him, like I have done. He's trolled all over this thread, with the intention of making labour look even more foolish than it really is (and it is a bit foolish right now, under Jezza).
Are Ernie and Beach Hut the same person ? If I am replying to a joke account on a serious thread I probably need to stop !
