The KUIPERS APPRECIATION thread.

Spun Cuppa

Thanks Greens :(
If all the players in the squad showed half the passion he poured out in the paddy he chucked when getting sent off against Huddersfield, we'd be in the play-offs no probs...

Thanks for the great memories

A club legend who will always be held in deservedly high regard. He's provided so many brilliant moments down the years, my personal favourite being his penalty save against Man City.

Let's hope he gets his testimonial so that we have chance to properly show our appreciation for the man.

His testimonial should be the first warm up match at falmer. I love the bloke, genuienly upset he's no longer a player. More than enough about him to play for 2 more years but I really hope he takes the job offered by poyet. Stick around michael, your part and parcel of this club. Your one of us. It's been a previlage to watch you from start to finish. First class player, pro and gentleman. FDM = one of the most popular players ever played for this great club and best. Legend much over used term in football but not in this case.

 I love this man! He inspired me to not accept defeat, and to keep on plugging away when everyone else is putting you down. He doesn't do half hearted. He doesn't do apathy. Its all or nothing, and with Brighotn, it was all. Came to the club under the pretense we would be in Falmer within three years, and stayed on till the penultimate season at Withdean. Albion Legend of the highest order.

I wonder if the Withdean crowd could muster one last chorus of - MICHEL KUIPERS FORMER DUTCH MARINE, what do you reckon? His release, though I agree with it, has upset me in all honesty.

Michel - thanks for 10 years of great memories. You are a true Albion LEGEND and you will never be forgotten. Without you we would not have won the back to back championships. Bobbys goals would have counted for nothing if we had been letting them in at the back.

If ever a player deserves a testimonial it is Michel.

Best wishes for the future Michel, whatever you decide to do, and even if you do decide to leave to keep playing, and you're definitely still good enough to do this, I hope that one day you will return to us in some capacity. Whatever happens you will never be forgotten.

Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads
GUTTED!

The guy is absolutely top drawer.

Along with Hart, he shows so much passion for our club.

Hope Gus has not dropped a bollock with this decision.

who'd have thought 10years ago at Southend after being subbed off at half time, Kuipers would become a double champion and playoff winning LEGEND and GOAL KEEPING GENIUS.

His testimonial should be done at FALMER. No questions. Club should make it happen.

No place for sentiment in football.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do in the future and I'm sure whatever he decides he will succee, that save against Bristol City at withdean was one of the best saves I have ever seen Live.
