Not a word in Norwegian press so far other than refering to English media. No rumours, no comments from Knutsen or other Bodö people, no nothing. Just Norwegian football experts commenting and saying it would be a very good match and that Knutsen would likely take the job if offered.
If Molde win tonight will Bodö/Glimt lose, there's pretty much zero chance of Knutsens gang defending the title. Could be a positive.

Dyche isnt a bad coach. Did very well with what he was afforded and tactically was decent.
Not for us, granted, but not a bad coach. I'd imagine he'd comfortably be Premier League with our squad.

Well, yes they have lost multiple players but they also suffer from the problem of playing in Scandinavia - our seasons are usually just around 7-8 months long so despite only playing 30 games instead of 38, the schedule is more intense.
As both Norway and Sweden are low in the coefficients the teams also need to play a lot of qualification games.
7 games or so per month and not the budget to have the depth required to compete in all competitions. Either you play bad/young players or you play our normal, tired team.
And then there is the player losses.
Two years ago they scored an absurd 103 goals in 30 games when they won the league Fredrik Björkan (left back) left for Feyenoord, Zinckernagel went to Watford (later Forest and now Olympiakos), Lode had a stint at Schalke, top scorer Junker went to Japan, phenomenal winger Hauge went to Milan and recently mr Bloom snatched up talented striker Victor Boniface for Union SG.
Similar to Östersund they now find Europe more interesting than the league and were better than PSV last week, but it costs a lot of energy and today they couldn't beat their rivals in the North-Norwegian derby.

I'm not sure Graham has "star quality", though he developed from the classroom geek to a pretty cool dawg during the years in Brighton.
Kjetil Knutsen is a typical Scandinavian - pretty dry and boring. More honest than GP but less jolly. Overall the same breed however: a boring, nice and sensible. More of a technician than a personality.
There's two ways it could go for him in the PL: very good or very bad. He is in a pretty special environment, you dont move to or from northern Norway. All the players live within five minutes of each other, there's a group of pensioners drinking coffee at the club each day and he talks with them after the training sessions. While the club is very ambitious and progressive on the football side, the whole environment is a lot more amateurish and relaxed. Could he move to a bigger city in a much more pressure environment without losing anything? My guess would be yes, but it could also end in disaster.

Read somewhere that he was quite outspoken and might rub the fans up the wrong way. Doesn't sound like it from your description.
