I like the Killers, but I don't rate their latest album as much as Sam's Town which is, for want of a better word, "the bollocks"!!!

Disagree, Hot Fuss was a cracking album but it's been down hill since then IMO. The new one is quite frankly, to quote BensGrandad, pony!

I would watch it for The Killers, but I can't watch on principle as Woss is useless. Further to that, his radio show on R2 is even worse and I have to re-tune on saturday mornings.

Agreed. Can't believe they get so much press now.

They could turn out any old shite but the trustfund Tamara's of this world will lap it up because they "saw them at glasto when I was on my gap year, yah".

Plus the NME are up their arse so the kids love em too.

I will set sky+ to watch it, shame Ross will wooin it. Killers are excellent and varied. Hot Fuss class, Sams Town excellent, Day & Age different gear. Just got two tickets for Royal Albert Hall.

Agreed. Sam's T has some good tracks on it, but nothing compared to Hot Fuss. B Flower's vocals last night weren't great and he's a little short to be a stormtrooper, sorry lead singer.

Also agree about Ross comments above. As for last night's show could they have been any more patronising to the two Ghurkas with Lumley? - Having them escort Lumley on and then ushering them away so the white people could talk....and then talking to them from the green room at one stage! It was like when Nat King Cole was allowed to sing on the same stage as Sinatra but there had to be a curtain between them! To be even more cynical ;) Lumley is very much out to raise her own profile and as much as the Ghukas cause is a good thing/her dad fighting with the Ghurkas and all that, it's as much about 'her' celebrity as anything. Surprised Max Clifford wasn't lurking.
