Arsenal have just signed Ozil for £42.5m. According to Sky he topped the league with 47 assists last season in La Liga (looks like he may have been joint top with Messi). It's the most difficult and technical role but, who was/is the best at the killer pass?

Gerrard is up there.

Ok excluding Ozil...

Bergkamp was very tidy...
Fabregas is as well... And Iniesta.
Gerrard better from longer range... And Beckham
Scholes was a pass master... And Zidane... And Ronaldinho, Figo, Rui Costa, Cruyff, Michael Laudrup...
Pirlo is still a pass master... Xavi alonso is still pretty handy when not injured.

Xavi is the best though for me... Or Messi.

Alex Song? Was pretty good at putting the ball on RVP's left foot.

What you didn't see was that he would try that 5 to 10 times a game and nail it only 4 times a season....

Mata last season had some phenomenal little 'threads'

Ronaldinho in his prime could also almost walk up to a line fo defenders and then just dink it through. Brilliant.
