The word on the street is that our north stand lead singer is in line for a ban. Apparently he was intimidating fellow fans for his incessant singing  like we really need less atmosphere, it's been rocking at the Amex recently :down:

How would i know?I'm pissed.
It's true ...I spoke to him this afternoon.
The Judge and 3 of his mates.
Just when we need the vocal support to try and inspire our team The club decide they've heard enough from the main man.
BHAFC becoming more and more clueless in every department.

So, what's the impending ban for? The OP says something about intimidation - is he accused of threatening/intimidating fellow fans? Or... Foul language? Shirley, not just singing loudly and constantly?!!

Nothing confirmed yet Goldstone just keeping the old powder dry at the moment...... He did not and would never intimidate anyone singing with his son....

There have been complaints from Brighton fans who have bought tickets close to where he stands. ... The felt intimidated ffs.... about time some of these pussies man up a bit. .. he ain't intimidating. .. he's a passionate supporter that travels the length and Breadth of the country getting behind the Albion and encouraging others to do so as well.
His vocal support will be missed

Ah. He and his son might not be verbally or physically intimidating but their vocal prowess may have intimidated those around them into silence, people knowing they could not possibly match them and so that is why the North stand is so quite.

The man's a living leg end. Special mention to the SWC yesterday - tried to create an atmosphere in the absence of much coming from the North.

Another thread where I think there is probably more to it than the OP has suggested. If the club are trying to ban a supporter who tries to get the crowd going then it is a complete disgrace as we need everyone we can to get the crowd going as no one else does but I think there must be more to this.

I'd be pretty disappointed if he gets a ban that is essentially for singing too loudly! I choose to sit somewhere at the Amex that doesn't involve too much singing, but stand close to his group at away games so that I can sing. If he and others choose to sing at the Amex, that's their call, I'd say. After all, it's not as though he's gone into the family stand so as to cause maximum annoyance, is it? The North is the traditional stand for singers, and that's where he is. I guess I'll watch this space for developments...

Agreed. Nobody gets a ban for singing.

next thing will be more clackers, you will all sit absolutely still in the same position, wearing the same drab clothes and on the signal all raise your right arm and clack (if you use the left arm to clack you will be throw out never to come back) and if the opposition score a goal you must clap politely but not use the clackers as this will overuse them and they will not be replaced if broken and you will have to pay for the one you damage.
