I have done all this but only for one share. I am afraid I have been advised that it is a "wholly inappropriate" gift for a young child (plus it looks legally rather dubious). I am sorry if this causes any problems.

Not sure what happened there, I sent the payment last week.... Nothing seems to have gone from my account so ive just re-sent it.

If for some bizarre reason it turns up twice, just send back one of the payments

I made the payment on Friday and assume it would take 2 or 3 days to land.

Either way i've just checked my account and it is defintely showing as gone.

If you could check again today/tomorrow and let me know if it still hasn't arrived i'll call my bank to see what's what.
