i love living in a society where no-one is expected to do any work on monday morning and friday afternoon, its great

i went out last night, so i am pretty useless anyway, i did f*** loads of work yesterday which means i don't have much to do...i'm basically gonna do nothing until 4, might pick up the odd phone though

some guy here always goes to the toilet at 3.50pm every friday for 10 mins so he doesn't have to do anything, i'm gonna get in there at 3.45 and stay there till 4 to annoy him

I've had a couple of beaters at lunchtime, so this afternoon is officially a write-off (as is the norm on a Friday). I've just spent the last 5 minutes counting the holes in the fan grill on my PC.

There are 64.

Just taken my daughter out for lunch on the way home from visiting my son and husband at the hospital. Brought the husband a KFC which I have issues with and he griped I got the wrong stuff so next time he can go hungry in the hospital.

Fridays are for doing nothing anyway.

In my experience NHS staff never do any work on any day of the week.

Yep - had a big evening last night and was pretty rotten this morning. Quick 3 liveners at lunchtime (whilst watching the cricket) helped a little, but flagging again now!!

I have just had hair of the dog and am actually feeling a lot better. Still can't be arsed to do anything. Going to get mashed tonight though.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I haven't been to work for 9 weeks. In 10 days i get assessed by strangers to see if i am fit to sit and read and help people on the phone. In the meantime, i sit quietly alone each day with my mouth as redundant as the rest of me. My eyeballs still struggle with colour and the brain shakes itself in the afternoon for a brief spell. I still thinki should be well enough to send letters to potential international medical professionals though, and aid them in their application. For now, though, i can see how depression arises amidst lonely thought and physical ache. Tears prosper in one man's own cell.

I don't wish this on anyone else though. :) Just look forward to going to work, holding a reason and laughing on Fridays.
