Where have they whinged that they have been financially abandoned out of interest? OR expect to be funded by the royal family / taxpayer? I thought they were happy to get on with funding their own lifestyle in the US, hence this kind of media 'work' ?

Yes - funded by the media they so despise it appears. Very odd. Easy money slagging of HM who can't respond.

And as crodo points out, they have been whinging that the royal family financially abandoned them. Tough titty. do some graft and earn some wedge.

They are earning some wedge, but joe public doesn't like how they earn their money.

I'm really surprised so many people care, or seem that 'vested' in the royal family.

Prince Harry has always hated being part of the monarch and even more so despised the intrusion of the press in royal family lives. Him wanting out should be no surprise.

...

I don’t know this Meghan, any more than you do. But you seem keen to verbally assault her for some reason.

Why are people so protective of the royal family. An outdated institution, one day people will look back and laugh at the birthright worship some have.

get over yourself man. I can't stand the royal family, nor this silly bitch.

One of Harrys gripes in the interview was that they had been financially abandoned when moving, such that they had to move into a friends house and the only money he had was the inheritance of his late mother.

:nono:

oh the poor puppy only has a few million to get by on.
they wanted to leave duties behind, left the free house and any subs from doing Royal work. they walked away from work for the family business, so why expect the family business to sub them?

First page stuff here in Sweden as well.

Cant be bothered to see what all the fuzz is about but seems to me the easiest thing for everyone involved would be to shut the **** up and live their meaningless luxuary lives until they drop dead.

How do we know all she said is genuine or just justification for moving to America. They are now part of celeb list which sure was there aim. I am no Royalist but they are not in a position to respond to any of the comments

I give them 18 months max before she moves on to her next career project. Probably already planning the 'My Prince turned into a Frog' 2023 Oprah Xmas special

She played her role well as an actor, Harry though was wooden imo.

Talk slowly blink slowly and pause, read a few more lines pause. Cut to shocked face of awful host, who was your bestest friend who attended your non wedding, who you met once previously.

So no you can't live in a castle, no your son is no prince, no your getting any more tax payers money.

Security yes love buy a doorbell with a camera like the rest of us plebs or pay for it.

Decided to watch some key segments of the interview and I thought it was incredibly dull, what a storm in a teacup.

Meghan making the racism claims was all too predictable, don’t get me wrong if the baby skin colour comment was made then it’s undeniably wrong but to claim such a serious thing publicly and not name the perpetrator really does stink and all it does is create a storm that apparently they have been trying to avoid.

I must admit my opinion of the two decreased massively I thought it came across as extremely rehearsed and bitter, almost as if it was directed by an actress, I found the comments about the British being inherently racist absolutely despicable considering they’ve moved to the US, look at all these racists lining the streets for them!81CEC6A2-4324-4912-9FFA-413989B21E01.jpeg

Not read the whole thread but heard the buzz - is it actually that bad to wonder out loud what skin tone the baby might have, with a pale ginger haired dad and a biracial mum? Is that really racist?

Indeed, It's never easy when you're down to your last £10 million.
