I remember when I was a kid, my Mum always bought a tin of QS at Xmas, they seemed to last forever and was always loads of toffees left at the end of the tin. Now I buy a tin and you can see the bottom of the tin before you even have one, couple of days and they are gone....and there is only about 2 green triangles as well, takes the piss!!!!!

I expect you blame that on Gus too

Get onto your local politician about rising food prices, not Cadburys.

Er, my MP is a Tory, not much point really.

I think you can buy larger single versions of the green triangles in all good sweet shops.

It's a mixed up world where the tins get smaller but the individual sweets get bigger.

That is happening in everthing you buy, the price stays the same but what you get is actually smaller, some might call it clever marketing

At my house, we generally buy a tin of Roses, Quality streets and Heroes, then we mix them up and we end up with a WHOLE tin empty. Ridiculous!

The pint glasses in pubs are getting smaller as well. I'm drinking 7 or 8 nowadays when I go out compared to 5 or 6 a couple of years back.

Another sign of rip-off Britain, this years tin of Roses has shrunk from 975g down to 850g yet they are still being pushed at a "Special Offer " price of a Fiver. I'm pretty sure that the year before last we actually had a 1kg tin as I remember having to choose between Roses and QS and one was marginally under the 1 Kg.

If you will go slumming it at Morrisons....

Its rather reassuring to know that you are being even more ripped off by Waitrose.

Why would there be loads of toffees left? Surely these are the best sweet in Quality St bar none?!
