Never 'bus wankered' anyone, but if you turn the windscreen washers on your turbo nutter ford transit through 90 degrees, they do make fantastic bus stop 'super soakers.'

I don't think my dad was to impressed he had a bunch of teens shouting bus wankers at everyone and smoking wankers at your clunge :lolol::clap2:

I only watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and as soon as I'd seen it I signed up for 4OD and watched them all back to back. They are repeating the first series this week so I will be recording them all.

Can't see where they are repeating them, what channel is it on and what day?

Series 1 1st episode is on E4 at 10pm this Thursday and I assume the series continues each Thursday same time/channel

Arse!

Just paid for the series 1 dvd because I didn't hear about it until series 2. Although some of the episodes are so good that I know I will watch them again and again. In fact, I was thinking of joining the caravan club myself...

Inbetweeners is harmless enough, but its when people decide shouting obscenities to people at a bus stop is comedic genius that I have a bit of an issue.

I love the inbetweeners, but I have to agree with you, that one scene is not funny. What is funny is the consequenses of 'bus wankers' later in the episode.

I was highly dubious about this show when I first heard about it and that clip hardly sells it HOWEVER I did feel the need to give it a fair trial and yesterday I caned through both series' from Channel4.com.

Whilst it is a little crincgeworthy in many places it is also shockingly accurate in its portrayal of my sixth form years. The constant casual abuse of all your friends, referring to everyone as bummers, persistent jokes at the expense of other people's mothers etc.

And I have to admit I found I was pissing myself by the end of the series and desperate for more. It is very juvenile but it does capture the sort of angst-filled loser I was at that age and it's quite nice to know things haven't changed.

The little blonde bullshitter kid is always good value and some of the stuff he comes up with is priceless. It's also well observed, with the simple casual acceptance of insults by just agreeing "brilliant" or "good one" to some cheeky one-liner that's been thrown your way.

I really hope they make more. I'm not too sure about the voiceover from Will all the time but Ican overlook it as it really was laugh out loud stuff at times.

Jay-"Your dad was the one who gave monkeys aids."

Neil-"Take that back."

Jay-"Thats what the monkeys said."

simon: i've loved her since i was eight years old
neil: you fancy eight year olds?
simon: no, we were both eight at the time
neil: you still fancied an eight year old!

Will: That's a touching sentiment.
Jay: I'll be touching your Mum's sentiment.
Will: That doesn't mean anything.
Jay: It means I'd touch her bumhole with my cock.

Jay: "the lion, the witch, and the specky kid that shit himself"

I feel so ashamed but I can't help it. It's just SO on the button

Having cycled for years teenagers have always shouted what may be very witty and humourous dittys my way as they pass in cars. However if the car is traveling anywhere over 10 miles an hour all ones hears is 'Ummmpghhh Faarrrrk Mummmm Ha ha ha'.

I imagine bus wankers sound similar to anyone in the shelter. 'Batttkars ha ha'.

On the bike its funny when you catch up with them at the next set of traffic lights.

Exactly what happened to me at the top of Ditchling Road last week. Got abuse shouted from a couple of blokes in an Audi, which promptly slowed as it hit the traffic backed up at Fiveways junction. It was almost identical to the Inbetweeners scene as I pulled alongside, the passenger couldn't apologise enough.
