I was at Wembley yesterday, what a final 13 minutes!

People complain about the travel situation at the Amex but **** me getting to and out of Wembley is utterly shit. We arrived 45 mins before kick off and missed the first 15 mins because of the queues getting into the ground. £4.10 for a tiny portion of chips and £5.20 for a tiny bottle of Budweiser. We’re so lucky to have the Amex and all that it offers in terms of food and drink. Despite the result I’m reluctant to go back to Wembley any time soon.

We walked straight into Block J, 30min before the match, but the queues at the adjacent blocks were horrendous for some reason. We were lucky.

After the match, we stayed for 5min to clap the team, exited and got the first train (no, really) from Wembley Stadium. Back in London (Marylebone) in 15min. Can’t believe people don’t use that route - it’s a must, if you’re the right side of the stadium.

Food and drink? Rip-off, yes. We took our own.

All about planning really. And a bit of luck.

Oh and tickets were only £25 for adults and £20’for two kids (in family end).

Great value for an incredible occasion.

Personally I put winning the Euros just a shade behind winning the World Cup.

Being on the opposite side of the stadium to the wembley park meant we were last to the station, they were so bad we decided to dip into the shopping centre for some food. Sounds like we should've gone to the other station...

Oh man. Entrance P is one of the closest to Wembley Stadium rail station! Unless you're literally the other side (E, F, G), it's definitely the best way to go.

Can't mitigate against queues getting in mind. Not sure what was happening there.

Well, it's fair to say that Nations League isn't a top-tier tournament.

But you've got to beat some serious opposition to win it - the same teams that dominate the finals of the major competitions.

Whereas you don't need to beat Real Madrid, Juventus, Barca etc to win the League Cup...

The flip side to this is that those strong national teams can and will put out weakened sides in situations where they have nothing riding on it.

No. We're merely guaranteed a play-off spot, in case we don't qualify automatically.

And there will be five teams in our group, not six.

Wouldn't be pretty rubbish to skip qualifying anyway. Need to play competitive matches.
