[Football] The **** in west lower by north

I saw it happen. Absolute ****. The singing was only joining in with what was coming from the North Stand which was quite loud for a friendly.

Guy looked aggressive for the whole game, although he barely clapped our goals. Left very early. I suspect he wasn’t a fan.

Woman next to lads almost sided with the guy and told them they should be in the North Stand if they wanted to sing as West Lower was the family stand! Bizarre. Can’t believe the people we get going to games these days, no wonder the other stands hardly ever join in with the North.
The Amex plastics are the worst breed of fan imaginable. Apart from a few mates I don’t recognise many faces from years gone by in the concourses now.

First half two 15 16 year olds in front of us joining in with all the songs. 40 odd year old with 8 year old son row in front turns around "you're voice is ****ing irritating me, you sing one more song and I'll take your head clean off"
15 year old says " we're at the football mate what's your problem?"
C*** says "right let's take this outside"
8 year old "dad please don't please dont'

What the **** is wrong with these *****!?

In this day and age I'm not sure who you're complaining about? Hopefully you're enough of a fan to be on the side of the two youngsters trying to support the team; in which case, yes, the 40 year old was a completer ********.

However if you're sticking up for the bloke who just wants to sit quietly and watch the football with his son you can **** right off. His sort are the type who are ruining football!

Sounds like he didn't.

I'm not trying to sound hard or heroic but I personally would've grabbed him by the neck, lifted him off his feet, flung him a few rows down, leaped across the the rows ahead landing on him with my elbows, ripped one of the seats off and removed the padding, whack the seat over his head, get him in a headlock , drag him to the mens toilet, stick his head in the toilet and flush, force him to clean his hands, headbutt him, drag him back to his original seat, pull his trousers and pants down, shove a load of smuggled-in bottle tops down his throat, apologise to his son, kick the shit out of the 15 and 16 year olds, batter the stewards when they try to intervene, run onto the pitch and judo chop Trossard in the face, run to the Valencia away fans, wave my massive penis at them, leave 5 minutes before the final whistle to avoid any queues, then back home in no time.

Job done.

Problem solved

Believed all that until the massive penis bit, some people just can't help exaggerating!

Nothing beats joing a thread at the end, not reading posts properly but, nevertheless, expressing a strongly held opinion. Nothing. Fact. :lolol:

:lolol: I'm not wading through 120-odd posts of other peoples' bollocks! I didn't read any except the original! (Although I can guess at the content: "Yes", "No", "Why didn't you tell a steward?", "Why didn't you lamp the bloke / kids?") I read the post and replied - and I'm still none the wiser!

Well you missed a kerfuffle. OP and his dad have every reason to not 'steam in' as some appear to have implied (not that any reason to not steam in is needed, frankly) but some suggested a thread should not be started on the topic. Others (myself included) defended OP for posting, and made comments of bafflement that anyone would think this, of all topics, was not fit for a football forum. And on it rumbled, with the usual repetition, misunderstandings and even folk unwilling to read pages of 'bollocks' popping in for an ill-considered comment:wrong: :lolol:

Brovion, for someone who has made 16,996 posts, I dare say some of which are bollocks, surely you could have spent a wee bit more time 'researching' before wading in with more bollocks!:l:smile:::wink:
P.S. Wow, 5 more posts than HWT!:lolol:

F*ck em - I remember when that EF lot turned up en masse at BHASVIC a couple of years ago, forcing us regular students into the rooms onto the periphery of the college site - haven't forgiven them since:moo:

I felt sorry for the poor EF kids. They only came for a fun summer evening at a meaningless friendly and got a small but nasty taster of the tribalism of football. Too many small men and boys giving it large for no real reason at all.

Absolutely an incident worthy of discussing here imo. The 'cool story bro....' response, had it come from someone who isn't a moderator would've probably just got a few shrugs, but being a moderator I too expected better of Guinness Boy, not his finest hour.

As an aside, and obviously no idea whether it was a factor in this incident, I've noticed a marked increase in people at football matches charging off their tits on cocaine. It's a worrying trend.

Yeah, but it's not a subject I'm that interested in (and we've had it before), so I just read the original post and replied. Glad I've added to the general overall 'bollock-ness'!

Anyway, to make up for my lack of interest in everybody else's opinions I'm off to read every single post on the Brexit thread before making a considered response that both sides will immediately agree with.

Ha-ha, sounds like you are a fellow with a sense of humour together with a huge amount of stamina and a high boredom threshold!

Having played cricket and hung out with Brovian many years ago I can vouch for his excellent sense of humour, and when it comes to fielding at third man / long off/on all day under the shade of a large tree due to having very bad sunburn, his stamina and boredom threshold are also impressive.

Agreed.

Although I also agree that someone at EF or the club could have perhaps sadly foreseen this and booked the tickets somewhere else.

Lucky enough to be in the row behind but felt so sorry for the guy who 'got it'. I hope the club gave him a shirt. Well done to the cleaners, awful job to have to do. Probably a lack of stewards, saw somebody taking a pint to their seat and it was a while before he wasescorted out.

Thats more than they did in East Lower (in front on 1901). Just after ko a Steward was trying to get a pint (about half full) off a bloke in an Albion shirt but the man kept palming him off while drinking. Once he had finished, the Steward snatched the empty glass and said I'm watching you'. What was the point in the loose threat? Just eject him and teach him a lesson.

Friendlies are like cup games sadly. Too many one-off pissed-up eejits over and above the quota of regular pissed-up eejits.
