Two men will appear in court next month, charged with offences alleged to have occurred at Wednesday night's (September 21) Carling Cup match between Brighton and Liverpool.

Jack Wenham, 21, a bricklayer of Norwich Drive, Brighton, has been charged with going onto the playing area at a football match contrary to the Football (Offences) Act 1991.

Paul Mehmet, 44, a labourer of Friday Street, Eastbourne, has been charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

Both men will appear before Brighton magistrates on October 14. Both have bail conditions not to go to the Amex Stadium at Falmer.

It's all becoming a little clearer now...

You're the f***ing tool.
York was a valid protest against the scum who were destroying our club. Ipswich was a wild celebration after Wilkins rescued a playoff spot for us with the last kick of the match. Shrewsbury away was after the final whistle when we'd just gone up as Champions. All of these are valid reasons for a pitch invasion, because they either had CAUSE or SPONTANEITY.

If you're too thick to recognise the difference, then I hope you conduct your own pointless little pitch invasion in the 75th minute of a mid-season 0-0 against Barnsley, and get yourself banned. Piss up a stick, would you really want EVERY frigging match held up with a pointless pitch invation or two because they're apparently so "brilliant" ??

Get a life you dildo.

End of thread :lolol:

You really have no concept of proportionality do you? Easy 10's rant was just that. A rant because you have swapped rational argument for patronising tosh.

Bloke finally snaps at the bilge you've been writing and you claim he's worse than Hanging Judge Jeffries? Yeah right. You really are a patronising cock.

No mate, just that some have a problem with a different view and to get that irate and wanting people banned for life shows a high handed, self congratulatory attitude. Two blokes run on the pitch and it spoils someone's evening. How soft is that lad?

Really don't see what all the fuss is about. Some pissed up fans making idiots of themselves, did they put any other fans in danger ? No ! Were they attacking opposing fans ? No! Only harm done is to them selves. What if it were a streaker ? I bet the tone of the threads on here would be different

The happy clappers like to have a "moment" and its got the feel that they are loving it. I think it makes them feel all warm and super fans inside. Hanging Judge Easy 10 might want a public flogging for spoiling his lovely night with his new scouse mates. Some on here really are soft lads

No danger, but in front of Sky cameras, 2 drunk twats tried to make a name for themself & embarrass the club.
One gestured at Stevie G, but was ignored with relaxed disdain.

Best thing was 1,000's of Abion fans told them they were w***ers.

If regulars, they had their moment of infamy, and I hope are banned for some time,
freeing up those 2 seats for decent fans on the waiting list.
