You're a Southern Brave man, they represent the South coast.

Feel like we've let this one get away from us a bit, looked like we were going to restrict them to under 120. Still a very gettable total but we will need to bat well.
I'm quite timid by nature though ?

Well our batting has been very timid tonight so you're definitely a Southern Brave man. Desperately disappointing we've wilted under the pressure of facing the reigning champions in their backyard.

They're not really the reigning champions though are they. I mean, all the players keep changing in the teams.

P.S Hope you don't mind me trolling you

In what round do Sussex enter the draw ?
They're in a different competition called The Six.

Six balls each team. The match has to be completed in ten minutes.

Although there is concern that it may be too long for some and they may have to look at a shorter format.

Still, they show normal scorecards on the screen, so it doesn't need a warning for folk with epilepsy.

Looks like all the games tomorrow will be rained off. Oh dear, how sad, nevermind.

Poor decision by 3rd umpire. Didn't really scrutinise the ultraedge. Think there was enough to give benefit of the doubt.

Well that was bitterly disappointing, fair play to the Rockets they showed why they are defending champions and why Trent Bridge is such a fortress, can't see many winning there. Onwards and upwards Brave fans.

The hundred shite should be put in the bin. It has completely f***ed up county cricket, as us oldies know it.
It’s also f***ed up the test matches.

The sooner it fucks off the better.

Hundred = cricket for people who don’t like cricket.
How are the attendances at county cricket the last few years ?

And yet The Hundred is the ECBs idea and they’re the ones pushing it heavily.

Ditch the tonne of shit.

Keep the 20/20 but start the 20/20 half an hour earlier and penalise slow play. Structure the regional groups so you can have 4 fixtures a week. Wednesday evening Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, 1 evening match and one day time game at home each week. Get it all out of the way between the middle of July to middle of August.

none of this bollocks where centrally contracted test cricketers are obliged to turn out for short form cricket and have test cricket and county cricket played at the same time with county championship games at out grounds e.g Horsham, Eastbourne, Arundel.

More people can get to the games, it's all done and dusted in a timely fashion.

and there's proper cricket for people who actually like cricket and don't think that a good evening out requires waggling a big foam hand and singing along (badly) to 'Sweet f***ing Caroline' being blasted over a tanoy every 5 f***ing minutes.

f*** the ECB.

I turned it on, and there was some lady running up and down in front of the crowd with a microphone geeing them up to cheer. Seemed a bit of a manufactured atmosphere to me.

Compare that to the natural noise generated when Broad or Wood were running in yesterday.

Somewhat unfair comparison to compare a Tuesday night domestic game with a final day of an Ashes series with England pushing for a win. A bit like saying the home crowd at the Amex is shite during a home league cup tie against Cheltenham Town because they’d produce more noise if we’d just scored a last minute winner in a cup final against Palace at Wembley.

So as someone who enjoys watching The Hundred does that make me someone who “doesn’t actually like cricket”?
