Yea, with him its been bordering on that. Five or six of the players in the squad get some extra shit which is often not fair but not the end of the world either, but AC gets judged really hard and its often coupled with mean gossiping etc, the type of shit you would imagine people are too old to do on here.

The thing is, while I really agree with your sentiments, the fact is that at the end of the day this is a football forum, and it’s a football fan’s prerogative to behave like a spoilt, raging child following an unsatisfactory result. This always happens after unsatisfactory results, I’ve discovered, and I have learnt to avoid coming onto NSC on these occasions (admittedly I’ve been absent quite a lot lately and don’t know what went wrong with my judgement today) as this is the best way to preserve one’s mental health and sense of perspective. You’ll probably notice that several other posters make themselves scarce at times like these. As for players feeling bullied by tripe written on social media, they may be young men, but they still need only half a brain to appreciate the wisdom of avoiding such cesspits of doom as NSC et al at difficult times.

If Connolly or any of the other players read this forum not only will I be surprised but I would think they would be rather stupid for doing so. Especially after finishing the year with another loss and only 1 win at home.

It's a bit different on Facebook, Instagram etc as that is personal, this site isn't, ie we don't tag names /players here.

Excellent OP by Swansman.

The case for him being kicked off NSC is as pathetic as the one being made for sacking Graham Potter.

Swansman - what you have to realise is that the people posting negative shit on NSC are only a tiny proportion of all Albion fans. We HAVE only won once at home in a calendar year and that sort of relative un-success will always frustrate people prone to frustration.

For me, I think Graham Potter is a superb football manager who has got the Albion playing some of the best football I have ever seen from us. He benefits from the excellent structure at the club (TB, PB, DA) providing playing resources that have improved year on year - including shrewd investment in developing younger players.

I will be a bit disappointed if we don’t finish above Palace or Newcastle as well as 3 or 4 other clubs - but right now 17th will do fine.

A message for Swansman

The content of your OP you break it down bit by bit is not truly inaccurate.

However, the " Delivery " and some of the " Terminology " was a tad too condescending Buuddy.

I more than anyone on here understand where you are coming from. On here I myself saw my mate go from " Hero to Zero " in the eyes of some posters. It isn't a nice feeling so I truly understand how hurt you might be when your mate is personally attacked.

But don't go on the offensive when that happens. That's the sort of thing Donald Trump does when he is attacked and I am 100% sure you are nothing like him.

A bit of advice if you want to take it or not that's up to you.

Try and look more objectively on the criticism and accept that some of it is warranted and at the same time. Find the positives and keep getting them out there . Preferably without sarcasm.

And final and best piece of advice I can give. The posters who are really rude about your friend. Ignore them totally because to go up against it will antagonise and make things worse when things aren't going well.

Your Guy has done loads of positive things in his time at Brighton. I don't think the failures during that time are his alone. But you have to accept the rest of the season will have ups and downs. Every team and Manager has them. Accept the praise when it comes but always be ready for setbacks.

Good luck for rest of the season Buddy.

Oh one last thing. Don't post drunk. Some of my mental moments on here were after too much beer

Still in Brighton
The club is only the 17th best in England and only somewhere around the 50th best in the world. Not good enough as you deserve better since you went through tough times unlike supporters of the other 91 clubs in the English league system.

TB, DA, GP, every player, someone is at fault for this crime against humanity. TB is not ambitious enough, DA who is he really and GP doesnt have your Hollywood teeth, but what about the guy (or girl, I wouldnt know) serving pies at the Amex? Is there some video or something that could make us map out there personalities, reach some conclusions and finally swap them for someone able to turn the club into the top 1 club in the world it needs and deserves to be?

You just don't get it.

Go and smoke some more weed or something.

Will you f**k off. Your posts irritate the hell out of me. Get back to w**king over Potter.

Yes he's a good manager, but currently, he's losing the plot and it could cost us dear.

Only 17th you say? there was a time, comparitively recently, when the Piglets pie was voted a close 2nd best behind Morecambe's offering.

What on earth went so drastically wrong? Coached by Potter perhaps.

Yes, but the style and the manner in which the pies are served is receiving great praise.

No one can serve pies like we do.

ok......if the guy selling the pies is 6ft 6 in , can run 100mtrs in under 11 seconds and has scored over 25 goals per season in EFL Div 2 or higher then i'm mildly interested , if he isn't , hasn't then have another one of whatever it is that you are getting spangled of your tits on , order another pizza and watch some swedish , lesbian , teenage porn .

you know it makes sense.

The voice of reason.

He’s not really though, is he. He’s using some flowery language to try and hype up the job which Potter is doing, remember Hughton was sacked for doing as poorly as Potter is currently. Football is about winning games, something Potter has lost the ability to do.
Tell me, let’s say we get relegated at the end of the season and Burnley finish a place above us and stay up, are we still going to be smug because we played well in a few losses and pass the ball a lot, will we still look down at Burnley’s agricultural style of football?

Being pissed off is normal in a situation like this. Personally I just feel very empty and tired after a loss like tonight, but I understand that some people are raging. But some of it is just out of control and too ****ing primitive. If NSC would go down for a few hours and a day, would you start a dozen threads somewhere making bizarre psychoanalysis shit based on the mods last photos on Facebook and whatnot? Posts about how dumb and ugly and mentally weak or poor they are that couldnt pay the server cost, or whatever, in time? Its absurd behaviour and its absurd behaviour when it comes down to the people at the club as well, all of them trying their best to please your arses.

If Ive read the history about this site right - and please correct me if Im wrong as I find it interesting - the forum was already taken down one time because people couldnt behave like people. The criticism and rage is one thing, the constant witchhunt is another thing - its obscene, and most of you would never dare to say the same shit to these people face to face. Its a different thing if you are i.e. Charlton or Barnet run by criminals, asset strippers, managers with their tongue deep in shady agents, match fixing players or whatnot, but thats not the case in Brighton.

Shut up. Mods, bin this idiot please.

I would say given they sacked Hughton for just avoiding the drop that Bloom and the senior management team have ambitions higher than where we currently find ourselves. I would suggest the fans ambitions match the owners and I don’t for a second believe that they would not be looking at the current situation with more than a bit of worry behind the scenes.

I would argue very few fans are expecting the top 10 finish and Albion fans would tell you that being where Palace and Newcastle are would suffice as that would be showing progress that we are moving on from being perennial strugglers at this level.

The reality is we are not and for all your defence of Potter his record is starting to look similar to one that cost the last bloke his job. You can point and vent at those questioning the results but you just show yourself as being a relentless Potter fanboy rather than someone who can see Potters current flaws.

As for your first sentence wow just wow

I believe we were promoted the same season as Newcastle and we are constantly told what a basket case they are so why can't we maintain a similar position, or is that too much to ask.

Normally I enjoy your posts but this is bollocks you come here and insult the entire fan base because of 1 or 2 knobheads (it is only a handfull) because we care. For most of us this club is for life and something to help through the bad times and you have a go because we love our club (not individual players or staff)?

I thin k that Bloom will have things going on behind the scenes and won't reveal his cards until he has something to show.
I know that he will not want us to get relegated, that is for sure, we could never be promoted again.
