Al where is the best place to park and where is the restaurant?

Don't drive - get pissed instead, you've already paid for the booze.

However, if you must drive, the closest car park is under the Town Hall, entrance is in Black Lion Street. Go in via the seafront, turn in at the Old Ship and go to the underground car park there.

Donatello's is at 4 Brighton Place, The Lanes, Brighton.

Can't really drink too much due to work

Cheers for the car park info. Will print the maps off tomorrow

Right, final arrangements have been done.

We have about 100 people coming to the evening.

Most - but not everyone - will be able to see the TV upstairs from where they will be sitting.

Donatello's are aware of people wanting to watch the Euro Final, and I, along with them, will try and accommodate letting as many see all of the game as possible. Failing that, I suspect the worst case scenario would be that some might miss the first 10 minutes or so. After that, it might well be a case of 'budge up' in the TV room.

If people can be there for as prompt to 6pm as possible, that would be great. Everyone who turns up will have a small task to perform on arrival...

Of course, hopefully, most won't be TOO put out by missing the first few minutes of the match, as they are really there to show their appreciation for Guy Butters.
