Way out West
If so, we'd have just about got to our target:

£250k Alive & Kicking
£250k+ Cullip
£250k Currie
£250k+ Spurs
£750k Harding

But I can't believe anyone would pay £750k for Harding

Everton you scoundrels ... taking advantage of our delicate situation to steal away our best assets! Reluctantly, we might just accept that.

'Everton will sign the promising Brighton and Hove Albion left-back Daniel Harding during next month's transfer window. The England Under-21 international, who turns 21 next week, will cost about £750,000, with the Championship side aware that he is out of contract in the summer and would be free to leave then for nothing.

Bugger.

Isn't that incorrect. I thought that as he's was under 23 we were entitled to a fee whether he was under contract or not ???
Not that it matters as he'll be off in January anyway.

Harding is the future of English football but I suppose with our current situation we'll have to accept a measly offer like that. :jester:

Hmmm Probably a deal rising to £750K as in Cullips £400K move.

Having said that we know the last paragraph is wrong, so why shouldn't the whole story be twaddle??

£750K is a bargin compared to Gareth Barry who never even played in the first team and went to Villa for £1million!

I always thought Moyes was an assute business man. 750K is a steal for hard man harding. Dick Knight should hang out for a cool Million as harding will so be pressing Ashley cole for his england place.

Just hope nobody taped meridian soccer last night and sent it to Moyes
